We started our hike at 10 am in the morning. The day was sunny and we were hoping that we would have time to do the “tour de l’Argentine” that takes 5.30 hours walk to do the loop. Start point at the parking of Solalex, about 10 min drive from Villars. The start is not too difficult but it’s still only going up. At our right, we can see the impressive “mirror de l’Argentine” and at our left, the “Massif des Diablerets”. After 2 hours hike, we reached the Anzeindaz. This view from this mountainous plateau is marvelous. You can see also marmots if you are lucky. We did a small break and decided to continue our tour until the Col des Essets. 30 minutes after, seeing that the track is very wet and the weather cloudy, we asked another hiker coming from the other side about the conditions of the second part of the loop. The guy told us that the trail was bad and quite slippery, so we took the decision to go back taking the same way.
